WILDSMITH

Science-backed plant power for skin health and wellbeing WILDSMITH collaborate with scientists, growers, practitioners, formulators, and British craftspeople – all of whom share their commitment to sustainable ways of working. Crafted responsibly for a world interconnected with nature, this is Radical Botany. The story of Wildsmith Skin began over 180 years ago with William Walker Wildsmith, an English botanist who unlocked the secrets of plant life. His legacy continues at the Heckfield Estate in Hampshire, home to his arboretum and the heart of Wildsmith. Wildsmith Skin is founded on the belief that everything is interconnected. The ongoing cultivation of this arboretum serves as a reminder of the profound relationship between humans, nature and plants. Their philosophy is based on the fact that trees and human bodies share similarities: roots mirror digestive systems, bark protects like skin, and both thrive in complex ecosystems.

This understanding of nature’s rhythms shapes Wildsmith's blending of plant power with cutting-edge science-backed innovation. The products are designed to restore, rejuvenate, and nourish both skin and the planet, delivering targeted ingredients using lab-grown bioactives whose efficacy has been proven through rigorous clinical trials.

Products made for a world interconnected with nature with responsibility woven into every step of their journey.

Having found a new pottery partner, Wildsmith Skin has reintroduced their handmade English Ceramic Collection, featuring the brand’s unmistakable fragrance inspired by the woods, meadows, and gardens of the Heckfield Estate. The gently cleansing hand wash and restorative hand lotion stay true to their original formulation. Now housed in beautiful, refillable ceramic bottles, each piece is meticulously handcrafted in one of the last remaining potteries in Stoke-on-Trent. These bottles are truly unique works of art—designed not just for function, but to be cherished forever.
