Six Senses Kaplankaya Spa

Six Senses Kaplankaya is also the first Six Senses hotel to open a Holistic Anti-Ageing Centre, led by renowned neuroscientist and mind-body expert Dr. Claudia Aguirre. Your journey starts with a wellness and health screening followed by skin and sleep analysis where the impact of lifestyle habits and their effect on toxicity levels is measured to ensure a truly bespoke solution. Six Senses Kaplankaya is one of only a handful of hotels and spas in Europe to have a Watsu pool – Watsu is a therapy that works on physical and emotional freedom, expansion and completeness. It relaxes the body and puts the conscious mind into a meditative state so that the body naturally starts to release any stress and trauma.

During the treatment, you’re joined in the private pool by an experienced Watsu practitioner and are continuously supported whilst being floated, cradled, rocked and stretched. Watsu is a form of aquatic bodywork used for deep relaxation and passive aquatic therapy. Watsu uses one-on-one sessions in which a practitioner or therapist gently cradles, moves, stretches, and massages you in chest-deep warm water to promote a deep state of relaxation leaving you feeling totally revitalised, renewed and raring to go!

The Crystal Steam Room features a pure rock quartz crystal known as a ‘master healer’ which amplifies energy and improves both concentration and focus. You can also relax in the spa’s Salt Grotto, which has heated benches made of thick Himalayan natural rock salt and soothing ‘sea air’ pumped in. The calming and detoxifying effects of Salt therapy are designed to relieve many respiratory ailments and support the immune, nervous and lymphatic system as well as decrease stress, improve energy levels and quality of sleep.
